March 21st marked the beginning of a new spring and as I drove home from working at a Saturday event at Hannah's -- enjoying the unseasonally warm temperature, sunshine and flocks of returning songbirds, -- I realized winter had in fact passed very quickly.
Scheduling a series of programs to "Beat the Winter Blahs" was the key. These last few months I've enjoyed reuniting with old friends and making new friends as we've all gathered for a variety of crafting and cooking workshops, birthday and Red Hatter parties, Bunco night, Valentine suppers, sorority meetings, and lastly to share in celebrating our Irish heritage with Irish stew and shamrock cookies on St. Patrick's Day.
